My Students
Ready, Set, Test!
My students need state testing rewards and recognition for their academic achievement this year.
My Students are 6th grade Writing, Reading and History students in a public school in California. We have a range of students at all ability levels. They spend half of their school day in my classroom, integrating the reading, writing and history to build their academic skills.
My students need tasty incentives to reward them for their achievement in state testing, to motivate them to do their very best this year, and to prepare them for success in the future.
My Project
Our students will be testing for over 10 hours in Language Arts during the last week of the month. These state tests will be spread out over four days.
As an incentive to motivate them to do their very best, we would like to reward individual student improvement with a virtual trip to the movies --- popcorn and candy.
Our students have worked so hard this year and have made incredible progress in reading and writing. This reward will encourage them to give their very best effort as well as recognize their achievement. We hope this will build confidence and lead to continued academic success.
