Ready, Set, Read!
Help me give my students engaging weekly Scholastic News readers for the classroom!
Our class motto is "We Can Do Hard Things" and we firmly believe this! Every day I have the privilege of teaching 20 enthusiastic and bubbly 6 and 7 year old kiddos.
My students step into the classroom each day with smiles on their faces and positive attitudes towards learning!
We are a classroom with wide ranges of abilities, talents, and interests. Although we are diverse, we come together each and everyday to support each other as a learning community to do hard things!
Ready...Set...Read! Do you remember the excitement of learning to read?! You can help enhance the language and literacy block in my classroom with highly engaging individual Scholastic News readers.
We are requesting Scholastic News readers that will support and enhance reading workshop in our classroom.
Scholastic News is a highly engaging newspaper/magazine type readers that students love to get their hands on. These non-fiction topics support not only our reading curriculum but our school wide STEM programs. With these readers in the hands of my students, we would be able to read closely to develop comprehension, vocabulary, word reading skills, and not to mention our LOVE of reading.
