I need a variety of interventions to provide scaffolding to show learning growth. I am hoping to use these resources to provide new innovative techniques to meet each of their needs.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach 28 incredibly creative students in a 4th grade class in a small Indiana town. Our school is made up of only 4th and 5th grades with around 400 students total. A majority of our students are victims of poverty and stressful home environments.
My students range in personality as much as they range in ability and academic performance.
There is will be a huge need for differentiation this year as I have a large amount of students with special needs.
My Project
I am new to 4th grade moving up from teaching 2nd and 3rd the last two years and 6th grade three years before that. I am entering a population of students with largely varying needs (behavior, emotional, and academic).
I want to equip myself to be able to scaffold effectively to each of their needed levels in order for them to grow and thrive in our academic setting.
These books will be an amazing resource in achieving this goal. The drawers will allow me to organize my reading small groups to cater to their varying abilities.
The journals will be a fabulous tool for my resistant readers and writers.
