My Students

I want all of my students reading by the end of this school year. My biggest challenge is having differentiated materials to meet the needs of each student.

My students are hard-working kindergartners that have a desire to learn to read.

They want to be able to pick up a book and read it with ease and successfully. Our school focuses on reading everything, and that's what my students want to do and they will, by the end of the year.

My Project

My students will use the sight word magnetic board and the phonics and word recognition folder games in small groups. These materials will be able to reach every level that my students are at and will help them to achieve their reading goals. The sentence building learning center will help them to understand sentence structure so they can write better sentences. The highlighter tape will allow me to assess my students as they come up during whole group instruction and pick out letters, words, punctuation, etc.

These resources are going to improve my students reading and writing skills.

My students will become more confident in their writing and reading. Once my students begin reading, they are going to take off with their learning.
