I have an amazing and energetic group of six and seven-year-old first-grade students. They are very curious and eager to learn. They are very social and very talkative. They ask a lot of questions and have many stories to tell! They are always on the move, and they love music and dancing.
As part of their daily language arts and reading instruction, they rotate through three learning stations: Teacher Led, Technology and Independent.
They are at different stages of learning and they need instructional strategies based on their needs. They love hands on activities and to experiment with trial an error. They really enjoy learning by doing!
They are very excited about reading, and they are enjoying every step in their path to becoming fluent readers and in developing comprehension skills.
I love being part of this process!
We need a printer for many of the activities that we do in our classroom: tests, quizzes, worksheets, homework, progress reports, classroom projects, language arts anchor charts and much more.
Having a printer handy in our classroom, will make it easier for my students to have greater access to meaningful work and practice that will help them succeed and grow.
In our school, we currently have a centralized printer for four classrooms that it is not close at hand and it is constantly running out of ink. With our own printer and ink, I will be able to print, in a timely and hassle-free manner, all work and assignments to meet my students’ needs.
