My students need a complete listening center including CD player, headphones and classic stories like Caps for Sale, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Five Little Monkeys.

My Students

My students range from budding readers up to experienced readers. No matter what level they are reading at, they all love the simple act of listening to a story being read.

I pull students from their general education elementary classroom to work in small groups on English language development, math and language arts.

My students benefit from being in my classroom by having access to different ways of learning and in a small group setting. Our school is a Title I school with students of varied backgrounds and multiple languages.

My Project

My students will use the listening center to play books recorded on CD and listen to them on their individual headphones while following along in copies of the books. I've selected some classic favorite stories like Caps for Sale, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed to get our collection started.

Donations to this project will benefit my students access to reading and technology.

My students will greatly benefit from using technology to drive their access to language and learning.
