My Students
I teach special education students in an urban school district where my students receive free breakfast and lunch. My class is a self-contained special education classroom that serves students in the 4th and 5th grades.
My students are excited to come to school and learn!
This year, we are beginning the school year virtually. My students learn best with hands on activities. I would like to provide them with materials that meet their individual needs and encourages learning to continue at home.
My Project
My students are all at different levels and the learning resources I have chosen will help me meet their individual needs. One thing that is true for all students is that hands on learning is the most impactful. It’s also the most fun! With school looking so different this year, I really want to make it as exciting and fun as possible. Not only will it help them academically, but I’m hoping it will help them emotionally as well.
These resources will bring a smile to my students’ faces and knowledge to their brains.
