This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My student are AMAZING readers! Before distant learning, my students loved read aloud, so I continued reading books, and posted them on YouTube for them! I want them to continue being avid readers! Snuggling up with a good book, daily!

My Project

I like to read different genres of books to my students to expose them to different culture experiences, new ideas, and to travel to a different day and time.

I believe books can be used in all subject contents to grasp a better understanding of the subject.

My past students have told me, "Miss Cordova, reading books gives me ideas for my essays." This brings me great joy, knowing a book stretches their imagination.

These books will enhance their learning, allowing them to apply and create from the ideas being read.
