Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

We live in a digital world, but it is difficult to teach in a digital world when you do not have the resources! My students are not fortunate enough to have the latest gizmos and gadgets at home, so school is the place where they can have access to new technology.

My students are excited and eager to learn, but they face many challenges at home.

My students come from disadvantaged backgrounds, but they are determined to be successful in school. They need motivating and interesting materials to keep them excited about learning!

My Project

If my students had Flip Cameras they would be able to capture their learning forever! Flip cameras would allow my students to record, photograph, and upload their knowledge to a computer where it can be accessed every day! My students will be able to incorporate digital learning skills with all subject areas if they had Flip Cameras.

In order to prepare students for the future, they need to learn "in the times" and not in the "stone age." In order to make this possible, my students need more technology.
