My Students

I feel that I am a fortunate teacher. I teach a second grade class full of curious, enthusiastic, and creative kiddos. My students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge that I present them. They are always hungry to learn! We as a class enjoy developing and solving STEM projects. Solving difficult problems and conversing with one another is where my students excel. I truly enjoy watching each student learn. At times I swear I can see the wheels turning as they figure out the solution to a challenging activity! It’s so fun to watch and be apart of!

My Project

I feel truly blessed to teach in a small and loving community! Unfortunately a small school population comes with little to no budget; especially for technology. This laptop will allow me to reach out to my students who are now at home due to remote learning. I will be able to create a virtual classroom, develop whole classroom projects, and conference with my students and their parents. Currently I have a laptop that is so outdated that it will not allow me to do any of these essential teaching programs. I want to continue and encourage my students excitement and love of learning. I believe that this laptop will give me that opportunity.
