Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our district educates approximately 250 residential and day students in kindergarten through grade 12 who have emotional, behavioral, and learning problems. Most students reside here and live in cottages with an array of different staff members supporting them.

The computer lab is open to students in grades kindergarten through twelve.

Our classroom is designed to attract all ages and has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere of happiness to it when you enter. We try to keep a peaceful environment. Lessons are tailored to each student's ability and most often, one-on-one instruction is necessary.

My Project

Ready. Set, Action! We would love a GoPro to film and edit our footage we take on campus! In would be so nice to introduce my students to the latest technology and implement it into our class projects. We would film outside on campus and take the footage to edit in the classroom using the various websites and GoPro app. Many of my students would love to become a YouTuber when they grow up so why wait and let's give them the practice they need to get started! I would love to teach them how to get started on their career path.
