My 8th graders from Tuffree Middle School have joined our Falcon Films Digital Media class with the goal of creating daily news broadcasts that are viewed school-wide as our morning announcements. It is through their desire and passion for filming, editing, and video production that this program is growing far beyond its original parameters.
The students who join my Falcon Films program absolutely blow me away with what they are able to accomplish.
Every year these selfless students dedicate time beyond their class period before school, after school, break, and lunch to create amazing videos for their peers and teachers to enjoy. From comedic segments like their famous/infamous 2+2=5 to serious videos like anti-bullying and anti-vaping, these kids know how to get the job done and done well!
Every year my Falcon Films class works incredibly hard to provide our campus with up to date school news and announcements while also creating fun videos for their entertainment. Students receive current updates with our daily morning announcements. We facilitate other groups such as ASB, AVID, Yearbook, and WEB as well as teachers and admin who want to come in and share information with the school.
Falcon Films strives to create informative videos while also creating a film that is fun and interesting to our viewers.
Students have created documentaries on various electives, created anti-bullying and anti-vaping videos, and also captured our school's 50th-anniversary ceremony from 10 different angles! The new cameras, equipment, and props will continue allowing us to bring fun and engaging content to our viewers with great video quality!
