This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year we have had a fun loving and compassionate group of students. They have a passion for learning and a love for each other. They are low-income students who have an opportunity to have a Head Start on their learning path and I am so excited I get to be the one to introduce them to the wonderful world of education and imagination and open doors of possibilities they wouldn't typically get!

Please help me by offering the supplies needed for these students to be successful.

I live in a 90 percent below poverty level area and the best way to show them we care is by having a backpack full of supplies to show them education is important. It is also a great relief to the parents who do not have much to spare. Getting the burden of school supplies off their plate really goes a long way with this grateful community.

My Project

Each year I buy the school supplies for my classroom. Some money is returned but not nearly half of what I put into the classroom. Head Start Teacher Supplies budget does not open till Mid October which leaves me using recycled materials for the first 3 months of learning. Help me set the stage with fresh new supplies for my students.

We will have backpacks and school pencil boxes with supplies for each student in the classroom.

Each student can come to school ready to learn. We learn how to read, write, cut, draw, imagine and believe we can be anything we put our mind to! We will be ready for Kindergarten with your donations.
