My Students

I teach a diverse group of English Language Learners. Most of my students come from non-English speaking homes. Our school is multi-cultural and multi-lingual. Our students are enthusiastic and eager learners!

In my ENL class, we practice communicating in English using a variety of strategies.

We focus on building conversational and academic skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

My students look forward to coming to school every day. They take pride in their learning and they are motivated to try their very best.

My Project

This laptop will allow me to plan my lessons from home. In the case that our school building closes and we need to transition back to remote learning, this laptop will allow me to access my lessons and materials with ease from home.

The laptop that I am currently using was generously donated through the DonorsChoose during remote learning.

Now that we are back to learning in person, this laptop stays in the school building. I am asking for a laptop to use to plan my lessons at home and to have in case teachers or students need to work remotely in the future. The laptop may also be used in the classroom if any students need access to a device, need help typing a project, or researching an assignment for class.
