My students need 50 soprano recorders because I want to teach my kids how to play an instrument and the recorder is perfect!

My Students

I just started my first year as a music teacher. My kids go to a Title I school and come from some not always such great backgrounds.

Some of my kids can seem rough around the edges, but they're the ones who need the most love and I'm ready to give it.

Music is my passion and I can't wait to give the gift of music to my kids. I hope to have them experience every form of music, new and old.

My Project

These recorders will give my students something achievable to work hard towards. I am hoping to do a recorder concert and perform music that they have worked hard on.

This will be a treat towards the end of the year in order to give them a taste of what being involved in music could be like.

I hope to see them enjoying it and really playing their hearts out.They will get lots of practice time in class and I hope to even teach them about taking care of an instrument by cleaning it and taking it apart to store it.
