My Students

We are a public Montessori school that is located downtown in our town. Our Montessori students in 6th and 7th grade are very curious about the world around them. Most of our students have been together for all of their school-aged years.

My students are very social individuals who share their knowledge and always like to learn more.

Their minds are like sponges, and they want to soak up as much information as they can. They like discussing different issues in the world around them.

My Project

My students love being engaged. One thing that I would love to add to our classroom is Breakout EDU boxes. Breakout EDU is the immersive learning games platform that brings the challenges of an escape room to the classroom. These games are standards-aligned and equip learners with 21st century skills. Along with these boxes, student have the power to design digital games on their own. This would be a great addition to our classroom instruction to get the students engaged in the content we are studying. The students love working with each other on projects and this is another way they can learn and also work as a team.
