Our small school of two classes per grade is a country school. We are seven miles out of town and away from other schools. Our students are mostly made up of the farm, dairy, and crop owners' and workers' children. A big part of them come from other states or countries to work in the vibrant agricultural area.
Our school is lucky enough to have 1:1 iPads for student use, which were funded through donation and fundraisers over the last seven years.
The importance of giving every student their highest level of experience and opportunity isn't lost on our principal, or our schools' teachers.
The students in my class are active, caring, strong individuals, who can carry on a conversation on many topics!
My Project
These two professional development books help me to better serve my students with reading and writing strategies.
I like to keep my lessons engaging, interesting, and fun.
I have researched these books, and this author, and I know that these two books will be very helpful in aiding my lessons to create what the students need.
Another positive about these books is that I can use them for many years, and with all types of students and classes!
Lastly, my classroom has become hybrid flexible for seating in the last 3 years. This yoga ball chair will be a great addition to our class seating options.
