My Students

Our fifth-grade class is full of young, vibrant minds that are yearning for more. They like to be challenged, like to question their thoughts and are looking for more.

They are eager to do their best and then some more!

I am so lucky to work at a great school with an amazing group of students!

I want to make sure they have all the necessary supports needed to help them grow and remember the skills taught in fifth grade.

My Project

Having hands on materials in the form of games and task cards will give the students more support in their language arts units. Having something fun, while still learning is what they need to make the objectives concrete. Folder games are a great way for students to show off what they know!

Having these task cards, that ask them to sort, will make them think and express their thoughts about why they are sorting a particular way.

They will be able to verbalize their rational to a partner or teacher. This skill will follow them throughout their academic career.
