Every morning we enter kindergarten with a happy heart. We are excited and energized to learn. My students will benefit from finally having read along books to add to our new listening center. We are so excited to get to use our listening center very soon.
My kindergarten students are at a brand new charter school that has begun this year.
We are off and running and look forward to being at school each day. Our school is new, but we have a long way to go as we acquire resources we need to teach. I hope you will join me as I try to make kindergarten an environment with every possible item I need to enrich students lives.
My Project
When our project is funded, we will finally be able to use our listening center! Reading is essential, and the read along will engage and promote student achievement. Caddies for every group will help us become organized. A magnetic writing tablet will allow me to teach writing skills from the board,
Resources requested will help engage and teach organization skills.
Read along will encourage reading as students dive into books and listen to Cd's on tapes. We have a wonderful brand new listening center, but we have no read along. As a teacher, I can't wait to watch my students sitting around a table listening to books on tapes.
