My Students

I work in an suburban school district in Pennsylvania with students from very diverse backgrounds. Our school is located in a town with a lot of history and cultural diversity. I love having a classroom with representation of all skin tones and cultural backgrounds.

"If you're bored teaching, your students are bored learning," is my favorite quote and describes me as a teacher.

My students are the reason I love my job and my goal is for them to love school and to develop a love for learning.

My K-4 elementary school prepares our students for the future by meeting the various needs of all the students. We try to provide the students with as many learning experiences as possible to provide them with best education possible.

My Project

I would really love a book display for my classroom because I will be able to display colorful fun books and the display shelf will encourage my students to read them. My goal this year is to provide my students with a print rich environment and provide them with as many reading texts as possible.

All students reading should be within reach.

My students will be able to see some of their favorite books or books they are curious about on display in our library. They can easily read whatever book catches their eye!

I will be able to switch out picture books monthly by using this book display and my students will be introduced to a wide variety of texts on a daily basis.
