My Students

My students love learning new things, and they enjoy reading to a degree. With technology, they can make reading more entertaining while fine-tuning their reading skills.

Most of my students have a basic foundation for reading.

They are wonderful students that are devoted to their own learning. They come from working families with a strong support for education. Their families understand the dedication education requires and how technology is moving their children's future. Using their reading skills in conjunction with technology, my students will have a higher interest in reading and develop a different facet of learning altogether.

My Project

The resources I selected have reading in mind, but they incorporate the Smartboard which is a tool in teaching that captures children's attention. It is a different and more attractive means of learning. The software I chose follows the Florida State Standards and integrates reading with technology in a cooperative setting.

The software is new and enticing for my third graders to boost their reading interests altogether.

They will have more fun, and learn at the same time. Education is supposed to be fun and innovative. I feel with the software I have chosen, this will hook all my readers!
