My students need a wide variety of reading material to fit into our themes. Having multiple copies will allow students to be exposed to more content all while having choices.
My students are working hard to gain more academic knowledge and become true leaders. I want to provide the opportunity for my students to be creative and have meaningful learning experiences. The reading ability of my students ranges greatly from very far below to above grade level. I am the only reading teacher which means I will see 120 students each day.
Our students are our future leaders and innovators.
My students are excited to learn and continue their education. Our school focuses on ACT 212 which teaches students always go that extra degree.
My Project
When having multiple copies of books, will allow students to have a wider choice of books. With these books students will be working in collaborative groups completing literature studies. The books will tie into our unit themes which creates additional resources.
When having choices, students take control of their learning.
The hope is to get students excited to read and have discussions. Students will be reading out loud and analyzing the plot. Students will be learning without even realizing it.
Providing these titles, students will be exposed to more topics and contents. These are life learning experiences being gained through reading.
