Help me give my students a valuable tool in developing their financial toolkit. This text is a valuable asset in developing my students into smart savers and spenders through the book's focus on thinking outside of the box!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My school serves students from around the city. Students choose to attend our school because it is a safe and empowering environment.
My students are incredibly talented and hardworking individuals, who want to be successful.
For my students to be successful in life, it is imperative that I teach them reasoning, problem-solving, and persistence. In addition to these skills, I need to help my students utilize practical money skills so that they can leave class on the right financial footing.
My Project
Rich Dad Poor Dad is a bestselling book about building wealth by thinking outside of the box. The book is an inspiring way to teach students about developing a positive relationship with money while taking a second look at "conventional wisdom" around getting rich.
Students will use the lessons from this book to explore the wide variety of avenues available to them on their path to personal wealth.
Projects and activities for students will be focused on building a strong foundation in economics, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship in order to give my students a head-start on their way to achieving their goals.
