Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach first grade in a low income, minority school in Chicago. My students are finally underway with reading, but now I don't have the appropriate leveled books for them! I am so proud of the accomplishments they have made in a short time, but now that many of them are able to read early level chapter books, I want to support them in their endeavors. I don't have enough sets of these "leveled readers" for my students. How can I expect them to become better readers when I can't supply them with the reading materials? Please help me support my early readers! I need several sets of early level chapter books that we may read as a group in the classroom. My students have fallen love with reading. Please help this love continue!
