Our families have limited resources, but truly want their children to succeed.
We are a Title I school in a very small, close-knit community with only one elementary school.
I have a class full of energetic, eager students who are searching for inspiration, excitement, adventure, and friendship. They are excited for the new school year and ready to learn.

My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy-I read on the carpet to them, they complete work there, and they read and respond independently!
Every student is thankful for the opportunities to read. All of these books have been chosen with my students, especially my reluctant-readers, in mind. Students will be able to choose books which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time.
With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level.
