My Project

My students attend an intentionally diverse school where we learn to celebrate and appreciate our differences. This group in particular was the first "COVID Class," meaning their Kindergarten year was fully online. We are working hard to improve our reading skills and are lacking some of the supplies needed for small group reading instruction.

The stools listed will help us get the most out of our reading time since scholars will no longer need to drag their chairs from their desks to the reading table.

It also allows students to sit more comfortably around the table to help minimize distractions from peers. The whiteboards will help us learn how to decode and tap out tricky words while reading and the lamination sheets will be used for posters that strategies to use when reading gets challenging.

We are very excited to get our reading groups running smoothly and develop a love of reading. Our teachers and students greatly appreciate any donations received!
