My Students

My students from Utah are excited to learn this year. They are very diverse and love to share their lives and backgrounds. All my students have the potential to succeed in school and in life. It is my desire to motivate them to find value in their learning through positive classroom experiences.

Reading is a wonderful way to spark the imagination.

I want to spark that through books in their hands. Many students today need help to improve their imaginations.

My Project

Allowing students to have actual books in their hands to read and even take home is invaluable to their learning. Reading is a foundational skill that I have seen dwindling in students through COVID-19 learning difficulties. They are falling behind and not progressing the way students did pre-pandemic. I want to give that skill back to them.

Sparking their imaginations and increasing their skills through books.

These stories cover a wide variety of genres and subjects that will appeal to a variety of students.

Encouraging reading will help to create lifelong readers.
