All the kids try their hardest, even though we don't always get everything we need to make each child as successful as possible.
I want every child to see school as a safe place to grow and learn.
This project will reach the entire fifth grade, all set in a rural environment. These students come to school eager to learn and excited about what each day may bring.
My Project
Historical Book Clubs are a GREAT way to learn about history! My students love book clubs- reading should be social, right? They love talking about the book, they love coming up with a schedule of how much to read every night, and they especially love choosing the book they get to read.
These books will help my students understand what the world was like before they were in it.
It will help them develop empathy for others and have a better understanding of the world around them. These books span a range of topics appropriate and interesting for fifth grade.
These book clubs help develop a love of reading, increase comprehension, learn new vocabulary, and engage in deep discussion with their peers.
