My Students

This is my first year at this school, so I do not know my students that well---yet! I do not know what a lot of their interests are, so I hope to find out more about them and give them the best learning environment that I can.

I can't wait to get to know my students!

I am excited to begin this school year and to make those connections that are oh-so important.

My Project

Books are a great way for students to escape. The books that I chose will give the students in my classroom more options to choose from. My classroom library has a great and wide selection of picture books, and I want to have that same wide selection in chapter books. I chose these books with the intent to get my students interested in reading chapter books. I want to give them lots of options to explore their interests.

The more the students read, the stronger they will get.

I want them to love reading as much as I do. To accomplish this, they will need to be able to explore a wide variety of different types of books including mysteries, adventures, and non-fiction. I want them to be able to find out for themselves what kind of books they like.
