My Students

My students are all very unique individuals. They know the second they walk into my classroom they are valued, loved, and respected. That strong bond is what allows me to help them reach their full potential here at school.

All of my students are on Individualized Education Plans and all require different level of support.

For some this is strictly academic. They need help improving their reading, writing, or math skills. Some have social emotional needs and others have behavior goals. We are all part of one community in my classroom. We support and challenge each other and celebrate successes together.

My Project

Younger readers benefit from reading out loud but when many students reading aloud at the same time on different text, it can be challenging for them to hear themselves and the teacher to monitor reading. Older students need to be able to respond to reading orally and in writing to help deepen their comprehension.

Reading is a cornerstone of a child's education.

The ability to not only read the words on the page but understand what they have read, are pivotal skills as a child moves through school.

These resources will benefit students from kindergarten to 5th grade for many years to come.
