The students in my school are all hard workers and willing to learn. Most of the students I work with on a daily basis are struggling learners. They all enjoy using technology and learning in different ways. They excel when they are learning in a fun and motivating way. The students in my school are grateful for any tools, books, and resources to help with learning. They are helpers, thinkers, and learners. They want to be successful in everything that they do. These students are 21st century learners.
My Project
Many of the students we work with are struggling readers. By purchasing these Great Works Literature Guides and Reading workbooks, we can complete book units in smaller groups during RTI, so the students can have a better understanding and work on common core reading skills required for life. We work with students in grades K-6, so it is necessary to have book units at all different grade levels. We want struggling learners to feel successful in school, so these resources will certainly help make school and reading much more interesting and enjoyable. The books we have chose are engaging and fun, as well as some classics!
