My Students

My classroom is full of excited students who are inquirers and filled with so many wonderings! They love to research and learn more about the world around them. Our school is focused on creating internationally minded students who are always seeking knowledge.

My students not only learn about their city and surroundings but we also look at how people live around the world.

They are very interested in how kids around the world go to school, what they like to do for fun and what they eat.

My Project

My students need tablets and cases to conduct research for in-depth topics we explore in our classroom. Each student has an opportunity to follow their specific wonderings about topics we explore from culturalism, nationalism, the human body systems, to notable heroes. Information is power and my students are curious about the world around them. We do several research projects throughout the year and having tablets to research the needed information is an important part of our program. Several students do not have access to computers at home so they rely on their time in class to conduct their research. These tablets will also be helpful for the students to practice reading and math skills on different websites and apps.
