Help me give my students more diverse nonfiction books as well as more comfortable places to read those books! Cushion refill, wobble seats and a rug will provide students with lots of seating options!
My students are truly amazing. They are brilliant innovators. I've been in awe in the things they have been able to create this year with their iPads.
My students are incredibly hard workers.
They come from a variety of backgrounds. Over half of the students qualify for free and reduced lunch. A third of the students are English Language Learners. Despite any challenges these students face, they come in ready to learn everyday excited and ready to go. I could not be more proud of this group of kids.
My Project
Reading Ravens are ready to learn! This project will provide my students more opportunities to read more diverse nonfiction books in a comfortable spot! They will also be able to listen to and record their own books with their headphones!
The wobble seats will provide students the ability to get their wiggles out while settling into a good book!
The rug will allow them to pick a comfy spot on the floor. Choices are key in the classroom. I like to let them pick their book as well as their seat but we need some more choices! This project will improve my students day on a daily basis!
