I am the library media specialist and technology coordinator at a public 9-12 high school. My students come from a variety of cultures and socioeconomic statuses. Fifty-five percent of the students that attend my school are on free or reduced-price lunch.
My students strive for success in preparing for the future!
They are afforded many different academic opportunities including advanced and AP classes, virtual learning, dual enrollment, trade school, and foreign language classes. They will leave high school prepared for college and/or careers.
My Project
Books provide opportunities for exploration, self-discovery, and growth. The students who visit my library are looking for the latest and greatest books available. These books will provide the teenagers who visit my library with the chance to learn more about the world around them or simply a chance to escape from reality into a new place and time. Help me provide students with intriguing stories that will captivate them and increase their knowledge.
Every student who visits the library will have access to these appealing page-turners for years to come!
