Reading Opportunities in the Classroom and at Home

Help me give my students the opportunity to use the read along books to help lower level students learn to enjoy what they are reading without struggling.

My Students

I have 18 amazing students in my class who yearn to be great leaders. They work very hard every day to show how much they are learning. Three of my students are English Learners, one student receives speech services and 3 students have extra remediation for special skills.

My students love to read books that take them place, create things that enlighten their curiosity, and to solve problems that can help them in every life.

Every student in my class practices the 7 Habits every day so that they can become great leaders!

My Project

Students will have the opportunity to take books home to share with their families. Some family members, who do not know how to read, will be able to enjoy literature that is being read by the students.

Struggling readers will gain confidence in their reading by being able to read to their younger siblings at home.

The more the child reads, the more the child learns, and the more the child will learn.

Having the chance to read both at home and at school will give students ways to enhance their reading abilities. Reading will take them to places beyond!
