My students need a movable storage cart to keep books on and make them easily accessible around the classroom.

My Students

Young children have a thirst for knowledge and reading books helps quench this thirst.

My students come from diverse backgrounds with many coming from poverty conditions.

They come into school with a wide range of exposure to an academic setting. Some children have no exposure, some have minimal exposure, whereas some children went to an academic setting regularly. My class covers a broad spectrum of learners.

My Project

Books and reading are so important! With easy access students will benefit greatly from various literature. Reading can happen anywhere in the room. Having fiction and non-fiction literature at a child's fingertips will help the world open up around them. The book bins and rolling carts that I am requesting will help my students to be more engaged during reading time.

Since reading is a basic foundation of a successful life, an organized movable book cart will help foster this skill in the children.

By making books easy to access, children are more likely to grab a book and start reading.
