Help me give my students comfortable seating as this will allow group discussions in a comfortable spot. My students love the independence of floor seats and I currently have two in my classroom.

My Project

My students instantly fell in love with two green comfy chairs I received. The excitement of getting to sit in them made me realize that this would be ideal for not only reading but for group discussions. The green chairs surrounding a welcoming circle rug give students the opportunity to safely have their own space but engage in conversations. This is a perfect opportunity to work together or to work out a difficult situation. This can help with social-emotional situations and conflict resolution. The motivation to earn a spot on the comfy chair and use flexible seating is another way to encourage the love of learning. This is a difficult time in education and we need to find ways to keep children engaged and to work together in a relaxing space.
