My students attend a Title I school in Georgia and are really motivated to learn. They are energetic, inquisitive, and have so much potential. My students are the future.
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela
My little friends learn so much in many different ways. I want my students to have the freedom to learn in the most comfortable way for them. Hands-on, visual, and interactive centers, and all the in-betweens in a welcoming, organized environment are just a few things that my students will need and that I will strive every day to provide for working brains and hands.
My Project
Reading groups are so important in any classroom. My student receive many books; books of choice and books on reading level to help them become better readers. Many of these books are sent home with each student and they are expected to bring them back for reading time and to use in reading groups for lessons everyday.
Books Totes will help protect my little readers' books from damage!
Currently, my students keep their reading books in a ziplock bag. Many times, these bags rip and books are lost or damaged. These totes display their name and the books within, yet are super sturdy.
