My Students

I teach full-day kindergarten to 22 students. I love teaching and making a difference. If you come in my room, you will see smiling, excited kids ready to learn! This is my third year teaching kindergarten. I teach general education in a public school. My students have varying academic abilities. They are very excited for their first year in school. My students love to experience new things. I try to plan fun and engaging activities. They enjoy activities that are hands-on, exciting, and meaningful. They would love to have new materials to keep them engaged and excited about learning every day.

My students love to work together to learn.

I want to provide opportunities for them to work collaboratively.

My Project

This Language skills kit will help enhance our teacher table activities and Daily 5 Rounds. These fun activities will help develop important reading skills in my students. Each kit will help reinforce things we are practicing in class such as first sounds, syllables, and rhyming. These kits will be utilized at teacher table in small groups. They also can be used by partners at Daily 5 to work on important word work skills. These engaging games will make practicing fun for my students. These activities will build confidence in my young readers. I can't wait to see the excitement in their faces when we can begin using these materials!
