My students need 3 conflict resolution themed book sets that will stimulate empathy and understanding, promote discussion, and develop conflict resolution strategies to deter bullying behaviors.

Middle school is a transitional time for students who are no longer young children, but not yet young adults. They often feel misunderstood, invisible, or disconnected and often experience conflict at home and at school.

Our middle school students often struggle with peer relations and bullying behaviors that become barriers to learning. Research states that sharing stories and discussing literature on bullying is the most effective way to reverse these behaviors. Please help me help my students.

The collection of conflict resolution stories will stimulate conversation and help build strategies to overcome this academic barrier. My students need quality reading materials that will stimulate empathy and understanding, promote discussion, and develop conflict resolution strategies to deter bullying behaviors.

Our classroom will use 21st Century Skills to document our learning journey and share how these resources have made a difference in our classroom.
