My students need a variety of Reading Comprehension games to spark their brains!

Our classroom is a busy and exciting learning environment. We work together on learning Language Arts and Social Studies skills embedded into work stations with playful and engaging activities. Our class works together to learn new things.
Third grade is a very critical year.
It’s the year that students move from learning to read (decoding words using their knowledge of the alphabet) to reading to learn.
Our school is a warm and friendly place where kids can grow and learn. Almost all of my kiddos come from low income homes and would benefit from a guided reading table to help them work together within their group.
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." We just need your help in getting everything through our door!
Learning centers are areas within the classroom where students learn about specific subjects by playing and engaging in activities.
Play is an active form of learning that involves the whole self. Even cognitive development is achieved through child-initiated exploration and discovery.
However, children need certain strategies and skills, such as making decisions, carrying out plans, cooperating and sharing with others, and problem-solving, in order to play and learn independently.
Games are educational and most of the time children just feel like they are playing and having fun! They are more excited when they are given a game to play in centers than just a paper/pencil sheet! The games I am requesting do just that! They allow the students to have fun and teach them something in the end! It is a win for everyone!
Learning centers allow children to use up excess energy. They allow children to relax but to take risks without the fear of failure. Learning centers allow children to freely choose and experiment with materials that they find interesting. Finally, they allow children to investigate, explore, and discover things that are new to them and make connections with things that they already know.
