My Students

I have been working in a very diverse area for the past 6 years. My students come from very different backgrounds and are very limited in the materials needed to continue growth and learning. Even so, my students love to learn and are always very excited to explore their ideas in my classroom.

I want to see my students succeed in a safe and nurturing environment.

I would love to be able to provide more for them each day! My students are special because they keep achieving more and more even with limited resources. They are loving, creative, and full of questions!

My Project

Please help me give my students new books for our growing classroom library! At our school, we have recently made the switch over to balanced literacy! We have started incorporating read alouds, language walls, book centers, and more into our daily schedules. I would like to get more hardcover books to use during our read aloud time! After we are done reading the book together, the students will be able to read these books during independent times and use them to finish work during their book center time. We will also be starting language walls based on our read alouds! Please help make this become a reality!
