My Students

Friedrich Froebel wrote, "Children are like tiny flowers; they are varied and need care, but each one is beautiful alone and glorious when seen in the community of peers."

My Kindergarten students come to school with smiles on their faces and ready to learn.

My students are city wide children with diverse backgrounds that are in their first full school year.

My Kindergarten students are excited and willing to learn. They are hard workers and aim to please. My students' range from knowing their ABC's and 123's to some needing to learn them. Kindergarten is a magical year where I see my students blossom into independent learners.

My Project

During this nontraditional school year, my Kindergarten students must keep their supplies and independent reading books at their seats due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kindergarten is an exciting year and I want my students to develop a love of reading books.

When my students start to read, they will increase their vocabulary, print concepts, listening and early literacy skills. Dr. Seuss wrote, "You can find magic wherever you look. Sit back and relax, all you need is a book."

The Sort and Store Book Totes will allow my students to access their independent reading books right at their seats. The Sort and Store Book Totes will allow my students to keep all of their books safely in one place and separate from their classmates.
