Please help us update our Language Center! My students have a very, very old Language Master that works, once in a while. I'd love to give students an updated version that will get them excited to go to the Language Center and give my struggling readers a fun way to master reading skills!
My second grade students are energetic, creative and eager to learn.
They are at all different reading levels and I am proud of each of them. Some are reading chapter books independently, while others are barely able to read basic sight words.
Our school is a Title 1 elementary school with updated technology in some classrooms, but not most. Our school is the largest elementary school in our county with over 1400 students!
My Project
With the Radius Interactive Learning System, my students will be able to work independently or work together in small groups to practice the language and reading skills that they are learning in my second grade classroom.
I have ELL and ESE students in my classroom who will benefit tremendously from the Radius Learning System. With this system, my students can look, listen, read, respond, and receive feedback without teacher assistance. With the variety of cards available for use with the system, I can provide practice for all varying levels of my students.

This program will enrich my students literacy skills. They will be able to practice skills independently and have FUN in the process! If my project is funded, my students will have more of the tools needed to help them succeed, not only in my class, but they will achieve a better foundation to build onto in their future!
