I work in a title one school in Sunset Park Brooklyn. I work with English Language Learners. My students learn to read and write as they learn to speak English. My students read everywhere. They carry books with them to lunch, home, to the bathrooms; everywhere. They have progressed tremendously in reading. My students are new readers so many of the books they read are short and read quickly. For this reason they often travel with nearly a dozen books. I would love to get canvas bags for my students to tote their books around in. Too many books are being left behind. I believe these bags would eliminate the stray book that gets left behind while letting my students know that I love that they travel with books in hand. I think these canvas bags are our solution. If I could have 4 sets of canvas bags from Oriental Trading I believe READING will be IN THE BAG!
