My Project

From a previous DonorsChoose grant, I was able to purchase several paperback books and hardcover books for my classroom. I was excited but unsure how students would respond. I tentatively began assigning quiet reading time each week. I was floored (and very thankful) when I began receiving positive reviews from my students.

Can you believe that my high school students genuinely enjoy reading books?!

Many of my students browse my bookshelves each week, seeking something fresh and new. With your help, I can enlarge my collection of books, which will support more student engagement.
