My Tier 3 Literacy class is full of unique personalities. As students in one of the largest middle schools in the area, they are a melting pot of cultures.
My students are desperately trying to catch up to their peers and daily working to pursue their goal of reading on grade level.
They are constantly challenging themselves and love to try new strategies that might enable them to read better. They are the reason I go to work every day.
My students are middle school age who are reading around the second grade level. Our intervention class is focused on increasing their reading achievements to get them on grade level.
The headsets enable the students to interact with our curriculum by recording their reading and learning from it.
The data used from these recordings enable me to tailor the curriculum as needed.
Without quality headsets, the recordings come out distorted, hard to hear, and unusable. When this happens, the students become frustrated and quickly want to give up. My goal is to limit that frustration so they want to continue.
