My Students

Our classroom goal is to send my kiddos to first grade as strong readers. To do that students need to borrow books from our classroom library-these books will help fill our library.

My kiddos love to read and grow and nothing makes them more excited than new books!

They love to choose books to take home and share with their families. Each child reads at least three leveled books each night to their parents, friends and siblings!

My Project

Each day my students take home three leveled readers in their bag-a-book to read with their families. They get to record each title on a reading log. Each reading log filled earns students a prize and special recognition at school. They love to earn rewards while learning.

Donations will provide much needed reading resources that we do not currently possess.

The students will use these valuable tools to gain new skills, confidence and knowledge to prepare for first grade.
