My students need bean bag chairs and stools to have comfortable places to read and work.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Walking into our school, you will find a diverse group of kids. Many of my students are English language learners, with a few who are even new to the country.
My classroom is in an urban environment, filled with kids from all walks of life.
We are a Title I school, and our whole school gets free breakfast and lunch. I have a few students with troubled homes, which makes me work harder to create an environment where every child feels safe and able to learn the skills necessary to be ready for middle school and beyond.
Flexible seating empowers my students to take charge of their learning environment and make choices that will work best for them. During independent work times, I encourage students to move to a location that will help them best accomplish the task at hand.
When my students choose where they work, they are more engaged and less disruptive to others.
Many of my students feel more comfortable on a bean bag chair, or sitting on a stool, spread out around the room instead of being forced to remain at a desk. Providing these materials allows my students more choices in seating.
