Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Most of my students come from low-income families and almost all are reading below grade level. It is hard enough to catch up on reading in school, but it is an uphill battle when learning remotely.
My wonderful students are not able to attend school due to the Corona Virus, and most don't have access to chapter books or any stimulating reading material.
I want to provide them with exciting lessons when we meet on Zoom, but need supplies to help make it interesting and motivating.

I want to provide my students with exciting lessons when we meet on Zoom and will use these supplies to help make it interesting and motivating. The posters will be on the wall behind me, so they can look at them while listening to me.
Colorful posters and rewards will help keep my students motivated and feeling like what they do matters.
I will use the colorful pencils as rewards for doing well.
